Camping Rules

These regulations are intended to ensure a peaceful and respectful coexistence among all guests of Camping Santo Stefano. They do not constitute an exhaustive list of rules, but rather a set of fundamental guidelines aimed at safeguarding respect, safety, and general well-being.

Access to and stay within the property implies full acceptance of these regulations.

1. Access to the property

Access to the campsite is subject to the authorization of the Management and registration as required by applicable law.

Entry is permitted only during the hours indicated by the Management.

2. External visitors

Access to the campsite by external visitors is allowed only upon prior authorization of the Management and registration of personal data.

Visitors may stay free of charge for a maximum of 60 minutes.

After this time, a fee will be charged according to the current daily visitor rates.

Visitors are under the responsibility of the guest who invited them and must comply with these regulations.

The Management reserves the right to limit or deny access to visitors for organizational or safety reasons.

3. Allocation of pitches and accommodation units

The use of pitches and accommodation units is subject to authorization by the Management.

The Management reserves the right to assign or change the location of accommodations according to organizational needs.

4. Quiet hours

Silence must be observed during the following hours:

– from 00:00 to 07:00
– from 13:30 to 16:00

During these hours it is prohibited to:

– circulate with motor vehicles
– set up or dismantle tents or equipment
– disturb the peace with audio devices

Outside these time slots, television is allowed only at low volume. Guests are kindly requested to keep noise levels moderate throughout the day, out of respect for the peace and quiet of other guests.

5. Traffic and vehicles

The maximum speed allowed is 10 km/h.

Vehicles may circulate only during permitted hours and must be parked in designated areas.

6. Safety and fire regulations

It is strictly forbidden to light open fires or use charcoal or wood barbecues, both on pitches and on the beach.

Guests must pay attention to flammable materials and are advised to carefully extinguish matches and cigarettes.

Violations of these rules may constitute a criminal offense. Any breach that poses a serious risk to persons or property may result in immediate expulsion from the campsite, without prejudice to applicable legal provisions.

7. Facilities and services

Electrical connections are allowed only for lighting and refrigerators and must be carried out using proper plugs with safety grounding. Connection to the power supply must be performed by campsite staff.

It is strictly forbidden to discharge wastewater of any kind outside the designated and clearly marked disposal areas (mandatory procedure for caravans and motorhomes).

Guests are required to strictly follow waste separation rules using the designated recycling areas.

8. Cleanliness and environment

Guests must keep their pitches clean and respect the natural environment.

9. Liability and personal belongings

The Management is not responsible for theft or damage to personal belongings.

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to property or persons.

10. Rules for accommodation units (Mobile Homes)

Accommodation units must be used with care and in compliance with their intended use.

Included in the price:

– utilities (water, electricity, gas)
– air conditioning
– initial bed linen
– final cleaning
– parking for one vehicle
– Wi-Fi (variable signal)

Not included:

– tourist tax (see section 13)
– bathroom linen, available on request (€6.00 per change)

Check-in: from 17:00
Check-out: by 10:00

It is strictly forbidden to exceed the number of guests indicated in the reservation.

11. Specific conditions for accommodation units

Cancellations

– up to 30 days before arrival: 100% refund
– from 29 to 15 days before arrival: 50% refund (minimum €100 retained)
– within 14 days or no-show: no refund

Stay

The balance must be paid upon arrival.

The full amount of the stay is due even in case of late arrival or early departure.

The Management reserves the right to reassign the accommodation if it is not occupied within 2 days of the scheduled arrival date.

Damages

Any damage to the property or furnishings will be verified at check-out and may be charged even after departure, subject to documented notification.

12. Pets

Pets are allowed subject to prior authorization.

A valid health booklet or European pet passport must be presented at check-in.

Dogs must always be kept on a leash and, if necessary, wear a muzzle.

Owners must collect animal waste.

The Management provides biodegradable waste bags free of charge for stays of at least 5 days.

It is forbidden to:

– bring pets into sanitary facilities or the bar
– wash pets in showers

Owners are responsible for any damage caused by their animals.

The Management may remove animals considered dangerous or not properly controlled.

13. Rates and tourist tax

Accommodation rates, displayed at reception, apply from the guest’s arrival until 11:00 a.m. the following day.

The tourist tax, established by the Municipality of Monopoli, is not included in the prices and amounts to €2 per person per night. Children under 12 years of age and persons with disabilities (according to Italian Law 104/1992) are exempt.

The tax must be paid at reception upon departure, regardless of the booking method (online or direct).

14. Expulsion

The Management reserves the right to expel any guest who fails to comply with these regulations or disturbs the campsite environment.

15. Final provisions

These regulations form an integral part of the conditions of stay.

The Management reserves the right to remove from the campsite, as an undesirable guest and without prior notice, anyone who fails to comply with these rules and/or behaves in a way that disrupts the harmony and spirit of the campsite.
